About David C. Stahler

With more than 40 years of professional experience, David C. Stahler brings a unique combination of graphic design, commercial art, photography, technical writing, and publishing expertise to every project.
David was born in Joliet, Illinois, attended junior college, and continued his design education at the Ray Vogue School of Design in Chicago. He began his professional career at Stowell Studio in Chicago, where he worked in commercial photography for major clients including Sears and Brock's Candy.
He later served as Head Commercial Photographer for Barber-Greene Co. for 12 years, traveling throughout the United States and Canada. His career also included positions as a Technical Writer for Portec Inc. and Interlake Automated Guided Vehicles before he established his own freelance graphic design and commercial art business.
Served in the US Navy and Air Force.
Over the years, David has provided creative and production services for a wide range of companies, including Caterpillar, Remline Tools (Sears), Richards-Wilcox, MTH Pump, Melrose T-Top, and Cresswood Shredding Machinery.
Today, one of David's specialties is children's book design and publishing. He has designed, formatted, and published more than 30 books through Amazon KDP, helping authors transform their stories and illustrations into professionally designed, print-ready books.
His experience covers the entire book production process, including page layout, typography, illustration placement, image preparation, cover design, print specifications, and KDP publishing preparation.
David's goal is to combine creativity and technical expertise to help authors turn their ideas into books they can be proud to share with the world.
From concept to completed book, David brings the experience and attention to detail needed to make your vision a reality.
